PIE Org is an IRS-recognized 501(c) 3 organization providing evaluation services to nonprofit organizations on a sliding fee scale. We work with a segment of the nonprofit community that cannot afford to work with a traditional consultant. Some organizations pay nothing for PIE Org’s services, with costs covered by any combination of grants and donations received and collective impact made by pooling technical assistance across several organizations with similar desired outcomes.

Help us help others

In 2016 PIE worked with over 40 nonprofits to make them more efficient and effective.

An investment in PIE Org allows some of the most in-need, mission-driven organizations in Illinois to develop their own internal evaluation systems so that their time and resources can better serve their programs. 90% of funds go directly to building the capacity of our nonprofit partners.

PIE needs operating funds now in order to initiate our Open Door Policy! In the past, we have only had the capacity to provide fee-for-service evaluation. Our Open Door Policy allows us to hep the neediest of organizations develop their own internal evaluation capacity. These non-profits otherwise could not afford high-quality, rigorous evaluation services; although nearly all of their funding sources require evaluation. We have a waiting list of organizations that currently need our services, but have no discretionary funds to hire an evaluator on staff or external consultant. By pooling resources across organizations, we can provide high-quality, rigorous evaluation services by insourcing these capacity building services, which ultimately improve their mission-based services.
